FAQ'S

Why is the service called 11:01?

There are several reasons why this name was chosen. First, all of our services here at Christ Church are called by their time. For example, if you ask someone which service they attended they might tell you 9:30 or 11:00. So continuing with this theme we choose an approximate time to begin, 11:00, and then we searched the Bible. We wanted a verse or passage that would emphasize what it is this worship gathering is about. We picked Hebrews 11:1 - Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. That gave us the name and time for this new service.

What kind of music is played and sung during the service?

The praise band leads the congregation in corporate worship. The music covers a wide range of styles from Hymns, Jazz, Rock, R&B, Pop, Country and so on. All of these styles fall under the broad title of "Contemporary Christian Music."

Is the service child-friendly?

Children are welcome to worship with their parents at 11:01. We do offer a Sunday School program called Kid's Connect, that is open to children ages three to sixth grade. For younger children we provide a fully staffed nursery.

What is the dress and atmosphere of the service?

The service has a "come as you are" feeling. Dress is casual.
